Congratulations, you have chosen to proceed with dental implant surgery. Implants are clearly the best option for restoring form and function. Please follow the implant protocol below to ensure your implant’s successful integration.

• 1) Start your prescribed antibiotics the night prior to your surgery, and continue taking them as directed until they are all taken.
• 2) Start your prescribed mouth rinse ( Peridex ) the night prior to your surgery, and continue taking as directed for at least one week.
• 3) Please discontinue all tobacco products prior to surgery and continue avoiding their use for as long as possible.
• 4) Please follow all the post-operative instructions closely. They will be given to you after your surgery.
